great poem - hey you might be interested in my poetry blog - it needs all the help it can get.http://rhymeandreason3.blogspot.com/
wow I really enjoyed that :)
I like the use of multi's in the first verse. Nice poem!
sounds like my miserable professional/work experience....trapped!
Great poem, look forward to the next :)
It sounds like a night that gets worst and worst! But the only thing you can do about is let it's course take!
Love the flow of the words in this poem.
As I am son and servant to your will. Supporting!
Great poem as usual
My interpretation of this is the allusion to night as time and old age. That no matter how worse it gets or seems it's still human to cling on (or enjoy) the life that you have at the moment no matter what the circumstance.
Emily Bronte is one of my favourites. Good job posting.

Very topical. The boughs are pretty weighed with snow here.
it dosen't snow where i live but beautiful imagery
Damn, that's some strong writing there.
Egads I love me some Bronte.
I like your style, so i will follow you!
I like this poem quite a bit more than I liked Wuthering Heights... short and concise, though powerful imagery and sense of mystery.
