I know Im not supposed to

get excited when im close to you,

But I am so enticed by the sapphires

You admire the hopeless through

Forbidden to be dehydrated

But imprisoned by the desert

Using the thorns of a cactus

to write the scorn of this letter

Every morning I lay yearning

Burning for the transient dreamscape

To be a little more concrete

Like a permanent freeze frame

But alas it never has last before

After the endorphins pass the mastoid

Im left longing for the reward

To record once more on my core..

im torn.

Alchemist

I,
an umbral alchemist by the time the sun betrays the day,
pound away at the arcane elements,
forging bits into nibbles,
nibbles into arrays,
busy delivering broken bytes bound by the unforgiving babel of sinister syntax,
I become the pragmatic pagan who embraces the idolatry of objects whole heartedly,
simply because I need them all to be,
identicly faithful,
yet as variable as their parameters ought to be,
Betrayal would prove a price too painful.

why is it still spring by christopher franko

As time burns away goodbye
 like the glow from fireflies
 this urge still hurts to pacify
 those words that just passed us by


 as the absconding memories relapse my mind
 back into this cataclysm i climb
 only to tragically back slide
 into the last battle cry of my outer life


 internally i burn like the embers of a furnace
 hurting, hurting, hurti
 to unremember that first kiss
 externally i shine like the embers of a person
 burning burning burning
into a regular person slowly
