ReplyDeleteI LOVE Bukowski. Bluebird was the first work of his that I ever read and I was just blown away! It sparked a love affair.
ReplyDeleteIf ytou haven't heard his live poetry readings yet, I suggest you take a look. There is a fantastic live album called Hostage, it was the last poetry reading he ever did, I think.

I've read a couple of Bukowski's books but never any of his poetry. This was quite unique.
